About.
I’m a late bloomer. I grew up in Greece, NY, a suburb of Rochester. I’ve lived in New Jersey for most of my adult life, working in the tech industry. I’ve always played guitar it seems. In high school I worked with some friends (Mike Sage & David Byrne (Where are you guys now?) and played guitar on a recording of two of their songs. Mostly I’ve spent my time just doing what most people do - playing songs that I liked written by others along with friends and playing at church (well, not everyone does that, but…)

While I’ve written a handful of songs over the years, it’s only been in the past five or more years that I suddenly woke up and began writing in earnest (well, maybe not earnest - I’ve only known a couple of Ernest’s in my life so far….). Most of it started with songs I wrote for church, but then I found a bunch of other songs making their way into my psyche. So, what you’ll find here are two different paths - my faith songs and my “secular” songs. They’re both a part of me.
Oh, yeah - My musical influences: All the bands and singers I grew up listening to; Bat McGrath and Don Potter - I sat at their feet in their coffee house in Rochester and their music was etched into me and many others; Will Sol - who taught me a new way of playing that has stuck with me ever since; and, lately, people like Richard Shindell, who writes some of the greatest unknown songs in the world.

So, basically, enjoy the music of a late bloomer. I don’t expect any of these to change the world, but I have enjoyed writing and recording them, and I hope you get some enjoyment out of them as well.

Most important: I want to thank my family and friends who have supported my music ventures and have put up with my incessant puns. Love you all!

Peace.
