Blessed Are
Notes on the songs on “Blessed Are”:

[While this shows prices for the individual songs and for the whole CD, that is there because the website program had it. Feel free to fully listen to any/all of these songs as well as download any of them. Pay if you want - I will donate proceeds to charities such as our church youth group, Cross Roads Camp & Retreat Center (a joint operation of the ELCA and Episcopal churches in NJ), or the Franklin Food Bank (Franklin Two, NJ). Or you can decide to donate to a charity you like and just tell me what it is. Please - nothing political.].

Blessed Are – My take on the Beatitudes.
Without Vision – Too often we are more concerned with what happens INSIDE our walls rather than OUTSIDE.
Look to Jesus – He’s Our Lord – Found a wonderful African rhythm in Garageband and I had to use it! Love the use of the kalimba or Mbira or Aftrican gourd piano.
My Psalm – The Psalms have always been one of my favorite parts of the Bible. Here is my take oh how my psalm should be.
In My Father’s House – I wrote this when my friend, Mike Cramer, lost his battle with cancer. I know where he is.
Good Shepherd – I wrote this for a video that Donna Walsh did for our church (Good Shepherd, Somerville, NJ). Based on Psalm 23.
Jesus, the Only Son of God – Can’t remember what made me write this, but I like the rhythm , so that’s most of what matters.
Get On Your Knees – The position we should most often take when thanking and acknowledging God.
Take This Bread – My friend, Lisa Staib, asked if I would sing something for her eldest son’s First Communion. Well, we were away that Sunday, but I still started working on this. Finished it for her younger son’s First Communion. Better late than never!
